About us
FOSSA is an entirely volunteer run group consisting of parents and some staff at Sproatley Primary School who work hard each year to make sure our students are provided with opportunities which help them develop important skills like communication, teamwork, patience, and dedication.
Throughout the year FOSSA plan, organise and run fundraising events with all of the money raised going back into the school. Some of the money raised has been used to subsidise school trips, purchase school books, provide specialist equipment for children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), and replaced play equipment.
The overall aim is to ensure that every child is provided with the resources they need to support their education, and also to enjoy a positive and wholesome school experience. We strive to support the school in delivering both the educational foundation and personal confidence and development that will be carried in each child as they transition to secondary school and the next stage of their lives.
